![]() Don't just make every tank item now a support item, support needs low cost low stat items, but tanks need higher cost higher stat items. But you can't just tunnel vision and ignore how this will affect the rest of the map. I get it the mid season patch is to address ap champs and on hit adcs that's great those are issues that need to be tackled. Mid jungle are already cc bots that now I guess only protect the ad from any outside threat. I get it assassins are buffed, adcs are harder to live, but does it really matter if the just peel the adc? Mid minions are now coming at the same time as side so assassins can't roam to pick up kills slowing down the game and giving adc more time to scale. So what is the play? Adcs can now do mixed damage at a let's say 35/65 split at 2 items, but tanks can't even closely build enough stats at 2 items to hold out for a bit. ![]() ![]() Oh maybe I go straight into a mr item so it cripples both ahri and kog, oh wait force is a bad item now, and abyssal mask is now a support item with lowered stats and health, and its passive is never reaching the kog shooting from 800 units away. Do I go chain for kog? Everyone else on their team will destroy me. Do I go steel caps and warden into force/abysmal? By the time I get enough gold for these items kog is at 3 items. I can't go armour here because rageblade brok kog is doing 40 percent magic damage to me, I can't go mr cuz Bork/vi will just shred me. Now what do I go next they have a kog lulu/million bot, with ahri vi mid jungle very decent comp and let's assume their top is another tank irrevlant. So instead of item variety tanks can only go jaksho now. So as a tank I'm now faced with a predicament, what do I buy? I'm now perma forced onto jaksho because radiant is now a support item that is cheaper but horrible stats for a toplaner, and let's be honestly heartsteel is not that great, and frozen fist is really only utilized by one or two tanks. Most tanks with be at 2 items when ad are at 2 and a half, unless some stoppage happens in game. This wouldn't have been so bad if Mr items didn't get nerfed into the ground, I get that force of nature was broken, and in order for mages to play the game it had to be toned down but why make adc items so mixed in damage. What I can't understand is adding magic damage into every item. I can even understand buffing on hit adc since it's mostly critical adc dominated right now, everyone needs some love. The game was in a state that was heavily revolved around adc which is perfectly fine, ad has had a couple of bad season previously.
